About Outdoor Funky

Outdoor Funky began as a family-run outdoor education venture created by educator Nicholas Kleve and his wife, Kristine Kleve, a pediatric physical therapist. The goal has always been simple: make outdoor adventure more welcoming, practical, and fun.

Activities have included stand up paddling, geocaching, camping skills, outdoor safety, conservation, and youth and family adventure experiences. Outdoor Funky also values access and has used scholarships to help more young people and families participate.

Our mission is to teach outdoor adventure for a fun life.
